Three suspects in the murder of John Darnell Jr. were in court Friday for a preliminary exam.
They are charged with the death of Darnell, who's body was found in Sycamore Creek in Lansing on October 12.
27-year-old Brandon Addiss, 26-year-old Amber Kohls, and 26-year-old Matthew Green were facing the judge on murder charges in Darnell's death.
Addiss will appear in court again on December 6. Kohls will be having a forensic exam. And Green waived his preliminary exam and will appear in circuit court next.
Police reported that the three suspects got in a fight with Darnell Jr. and stabbed him to death in October.
