LANSING, MI (WILX) -- There is growing support in the fight to keep an invasive fish species out of the Great Lakes.
U.S. and Canadian officials have endorsed an almost $800 million resolution aimed at keeping Asian Carp from migrating further north from an Illinois waterway.
The project would use technology like underwater loudspeakers, electric cables and air bubbles to deter the fish.
The resolution also urges congress to provide money to pay for it all.
