LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The City of Lansing Public Service Department released a statement that may inconvenience some drivers.
The Lansing Board of Water and Light will be closing westbound Kalamazoo Street between Townsend Street and Walnut Street on March 27.
The closure is to repair a damaged water main and should start around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
The project should be completed prior to 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 28.
They do suggest a detour route for westbound Kalamazoo Street, go south on Townsend Street to St. Joseph Street, west on St. Joseph Street to Walnut Street and north on Walnut Street to return to Kalamazoo Street.
