Store owner's act of kindness toward thief

TOLEDO, Ohio (WILX) - A teenage boy was caught trying to steal from a 7-Eleven in Toledo, but instead of calling the cops, the store's owner decided to show an act of kindness.

Owner Jay Singh says one of his clerks spotted the teen trying to steal items.

Singh then went up to the boy, who said he was stealing because he was hungry and needed to get food for his little brother. Singh then told the boy to go ahead and get some more food.

Singh says he just wanted to helped someone in need, and that he hopes the teen re-pays that generosity to someone else in the future.
