Snyder names new MSU trustee, replacing Perles

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -- Gov. Rick Snyder named Michigan State's newest trustee, filling a spot vacated by George Perles.

Snyder appointed Nancy Schlichting, former CEO of Henry Ford Health Systems.

She is an alumna of Duke and Cornell universities.

Schlichting will be eligible for re-election in 2022.
