Small-format Target ready to hire for East Lansing location
The first, small-format, Target is coming to the mid-Michigan area.
It will be open for shoppers in East Lansing on July 21.
The 22,000 square-foot store is located off of Grand River in East Lansing and will be a first of its kind for the area.
The Target is part of the downtown Center City District project .
Along with Target, the $125 million project will be home to Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales, Foster Coffee Company, and a Build-Your-Own Taco restaurant called, Barrio.
Target will hold job fairs to fill the 80 positions needed at the new store.
The job fairs are scheduled for:
May 20, 22 & 25
10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
11 a.m. – 7 p.m
Job fairs are at the Okemos Target store located at 4890 Marsh Road.
“We are building a talented team of 80 new team members who will help us meet the on-the-go needs of East Lansing residents and nearby college students. Target is also offering incentives for students, such as offering tuition and GED reimbursement.
The East Lansing store will be at 201 E. Grand River Ave.
