MECOSTA COUNTY, MI (WILX) Police say six children in West Michigan were injured, one critically, after a car struck an Amish buggy this week.

The Mecosta County sheriff says the other five children are still in the hospital in fair condition.

It happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday when a 63-year-old hit the horse-drawn buggy that was carrying eight people.

Police say alcohol was not a factor, but the crash remains under investigation.
