LAS VEGAS (WILX) -- There is new information this morning regarding the investigation into this month's mass shooting in Las Vegas.
A federal official says a laptop found in the gunman's hotel suite was missing a hard drive.
Investigators believe Stephen Paddock removed the hard drive before killing himself after he opened fire on a crowd at an outdoor country music festival on October 1st.
The hard drive has not been found.
Investigators have also not determined what led to paddock to open fire on the crowd -- which killed 58 people and wounding hundreds more.
