WHITE LAKE CHANNEL, Mich. (WILX) - A piece of history is uncovered on the shores of Lake Michigan, drawing crowds of people who want a glimpse at the mystery shipwreck.
The shipwreck was uncovered at the White Lake Channel in Muskegon County, but people in that area say if you want to go and see it, you better move fast.
They say the shipwreck will most likely be buried out of sight once the next storm moves in.
There's been some debate about what it is the remnants of, but experts believe they're from a schooner called Contest, which was lost in 1882.
Experts say that still needs to be confirmed.
