LANSING, MI (WILX) - Two events have closed several roads in Lansing Saturday.
Two events have closed several streets in Lansing Saturday.
Starting at 6 a.m., Turner Street between Cesar Chavez and Dodge River Drive along with Clinton Street between the Center Street and Turner Street will be closed to allow for the set up of the Michigan Pride festival.
The area will reopen Sunday morning.
Between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. the following streets will be closed for the Pride parade:
Capitol Avenue between Ottawa Street and Allegan Street
Michigan Avenue between Washington Square and Capitol Avenue
Grand Avenue between Michigan Avenue and Saginaw Street
Shiawassee Street between Washington Square and Cedar Street
Ottawa Street between Grand Avenue and Capitol Avenue
At 8 a.m., Riddle Street between Kingsley Court and Kalamazoo Street will be closed for the Juneteenth parade.
From 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. the following streets will be closed for the parade:
Kalamazoo Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hillsdale Street
Hillsdale Street between Kalamazoo Street and Heather Lane
Heather Lane between Hillsdale Street and St Joseph Park entrance
