Rite Aid pharmacy will start selling cannabis-based products this month.
Rite Aid is the latest drugstore chain to announce plans to sell cannabis-based topical items..
The items, which include CBD creams, lotions and lip balms, will be avilable at Rite Aid pharmacies in 2-hundred stores across Washington State and Oregon.
Walgreens and CVS also recently introduced similar topical CBD products in some of their stores.
The non-psychoactive cannabis compound has become one of the hottest ingredients in consumer products.
While CBD, which is derived from hemp is now legal, the FDA has not approved it for use in food or beverage products, nor can it be sold as a dietary supplement.
