Resolution to revoke liquor license at local bar

A Lansing bar where police say is a "hot spot" for violent crime is one step closer to losing its liquor license.

Monday night the Lansing City Council approved a resolution to ask the State Liquor Commission to revoke Binni's Bar liquor license.

Lansing Police Chief Mike Yankowski called on the city council to act last week.

He says the bar is not doing enough to regulate which has to lead to a number of shootings, assaults and other crimes to take place.
