RAMSAY, Mich. (AP) Maybe they're applying for air mail jobs.
Pigeons were spotted Monday in the post office in Ramsay, a tiny town in Gogebic County in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
The Daily Globe in Ironwood says the Ramsay post office has been closed since early March when part of the roof collapsed. Postal Service spokeswoman Sabrina Todd says it's unknown when the building will reopen.
Customers with post office boxes are going to Wakefield to pick up their mail instead. They can also go to Bessemer to buy stamps and mail packages.
Ashley Babic says, "It's hard on the elderly." Another Ramsay resident, Tim Feldscher, says "a lot of the locals are wondering" if the post office will reopen.
