LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -- Most of the Republican candidates will be watching the results at the Lansing Center Tuesday night.
Republicans News 10's Megan Hiler spoke to said they're confident and they're expecting a very late night.
Schuette expects to win the race but he thinks it's going to be very close, by a 51-49 margin.
Schuette also said he wasn't phased by President Donald Trump not coming to Michigan before the election, and stressed unity within the Republican Party.
"It's going to be a big night, we're going to keep you up late. It's all about the people of Michigan answering this question: Are you better off today than you were 10 years ago? The answer is yes," Schuette said.
We'll be reporting throughout the night as the results come in and bring you a complete wrap up on News 10 at 11 and online.
