Red Cross helps tornado victims

The American Red Cross is helping residents affected by last week's tornado in Shiawassee County.

Volunteers were spread out throughout a neighborhood in Bancroft offering any help they can.

The area was hit badly by a tornado Thursday evening.

Many homes and properties were covered with debris from fallen trees.

The red cross ensured residents they will get through it with their help.

The agency provides food, emergency relief, emotional support and health services after a disaster, and will continue to help residents in the tornado affected areas.
