POTTERVILLE, Mich. (WILX) -- The National Weather Service said two tornadoes struck Shiawasee County Thursday night, but there was also severe weather in Eaton County.

A family in Potterville is fine but shaken up after a strong storm passed right through their front yard.

"Strong winds ripped through Toni Hannahs' yard. Knocking over large trees, and leaving behind a complete mess,"

She said she was home with her husband and son when hail and strong wind suddenly came and went. Her driveway is completely blocked by debris, as well as Pinch Highway outside her home.

No one was hurt.

She said she's thankful God was watching over her family and home.

"We said thank you Lord. Nothing was damaged. Our home is still in tact. We are all fine. Our vehicles... it's just a lot of a lot of property damage and a lot of work and a lot of cleanup," said Hannahs said.

The family is stuck in their home for now, but Hannahs said they'll probably start cleaning up Saturday.

Hannahs said thankfully, she does have people who can help move the debris from her driveway.

As of Friday afternoon, a portion of Pinch Highway was still blocked.
