UPDATE: Police confirm shooting; two sent to hospital

LANSING, MI (WILX) - Lansing Police have confirmed a shooting that happened early on Friday morning has sent one man to the hospital in critical condition.

This location on Lansing near south side was the scene of a possible shooting on Friday (Feb. 14, 2020) morning.

Police were called to West Holmes Rd. and South Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. at around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

They responded to a report of shots fired at the Royal Liquor Store.

A News 10 crew sent to the scene reported a heavy police presence.

Police say a 20-year-old Lansing man was taken to the hospital with a life-threatening injury.

Lansing Police say that another man, 33, showed up to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg and that he’s in stable condition.

Another person shot the 20-year-old and the 33-year-old but fled the scene in a vehicle.

He hasn’t been found, according to police. Police believe the shooting was not random.
