A Mid-Michigan grocery store was closed down to customers Friday night following an armed robbery.

Police were called to the Westlund's grocery store located on 2301 E Grand River Ave. around 6:30 p.m.

A witness tells News 10 an older male flashed a gun during the robbery.

Police used a K9 to possibly track down the suspect who may have been in the area but were unsuccessful.

Witnesses say nobody was hurt in the robbery.

We're working to learn if anything was taken from the grocery store.

Lansing Township Police were assisted by Lansing Police and Michigan State University Police.
