Police looking for armed robbery suspect

LANSING, MI (WILX) - An armed robbery happened on Saturday at the Cash Advance store in Lansing.

The store is located in the 6100 block of S. Cedar Street.

Police say that a suspect walked in, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect walked out the door.

When police arrived, they used a K9 officer that tracked the suspect to a parking lot in the 500 block of East Edgewood, but he was not found.

The suspect is described as a black male, thin, between 5'4" - 5"6" tall, with short braids and a short beard.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, a white baseball cap with a black logo on it and black and white shoes.
