The Lansing Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant.

Officers received a call around 9:33 p.m. Thursday for an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Subway near South Pennsylvania Avenue and Mount Hope Avenue.

An initial investigation revealed three young men had walked into the store with their faces covered and demanded cash from a Subway employee.

One of the men had a gun and the weapon was seen during the robbery, police said.

The suspects ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash before police arrived.

No one was hurt in the robbery and a K9 unit called in to track the suspects was not successful, police said.

Lansing police say the suspects got away in a vehicle. Officers found the vehicle a short time later in Lansing and it was revealed that the vehicle was stolen.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Anyone with information regarding the armed robbery is asked to call the Lansing Police Department at 517-483-4600.
