The Lansing Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place outside a Quality Dairy store Monday night.

Officers were called to 1412 West Mount Hope Avenue in Lansing for a reported robbery just after 11 p.m.

Lansing police say a male victim was out in front of the store when two men approached him and robbed him at gunpoint.

The suspects ran off with some of the victim's personal items before police arrived and no one was hurt, Lansing police said.

A K9 unit was called in to track the suspects but it was not successful, possibly because the suspects got into a nearby vehicle, police said.

Anyone with information regarding the armed robbery is asked to call the Lansing Police Department at 517-483-4600.
