Plane from DTW makes emergency landing in Wyoming

CHEYENNE, WYOMING - A small scare for a flight from Detroit to Salt Lake City on Friday.


A Delta airlines flight made an emergency landing in Cheyenne, Wyoming after cockpit instruments detected a possible fire in the cargo bay.

That's according to the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle.

The plane landed safely and passengers were evacuated.

Investigators found no sign of a fire.

Delta used a different plane to finish the flight.
