One way to stop potential predators in their tracks has just gotten a lot stronger here in Michigan.
Governor Rick Snyder signed a new law this week allowing the active ingredient in pepper spray to be more potent.
The legislation increases the potency from 10-percent to 18-percent.
The change in potency now means Michigan joins 45 other states who've made the change.
