UPDATE: Police have located vehicle and suspect in hit and run

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - UPDATE: On July 17, Lansing Police reported that they have located the vehicle and driver in the July 12 hit and run incident. They did not release the name of the driver but said that he is a 43-year-old man from Jackson.

The man has not been arrested until a determination on charges has been made.

On July 13, Lansing Police released a photo of the vehicle suspected in the hit and run. The vehicle is a 2010 or 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, white in color with front-end damage to the driver's side.

The victim is in stable condition.

A woman was seriously hurt after being hit by an SUV Thursday night.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Cedar and Miller Streets in Lansing.

Police say the driver of the SUV hit the woman and fled the scene.

Lansing police say the victim is a 35-year-old Lansing woman, who is currently in serious but stable condition at Sparrow Hospital.

Police say the suspect's vehicle is a white SUV that should have damage to the hood and driver side.
