SAO PAULO, Brazil An off-duty police officer in Brazil foils an attempted robbery while holding in his infant son in his arms.
It happened in Sao Paulo when Sgt. Rafael Souza went to a pharmacy with his wife and child to buy medicine.
While inside the store Saturday afternoon, two armed hooded men stormed the pharmacy. One of the robbers even pointed a gun at Souza who then drew his own weapon, opening fire on the suspects while holding his infant son.
Surveillance video showed him shooting past a customer, as he walked down aisles, holding his baby in one arm and the gun in the other. The video shows Souza's wife crouching down and taking the baby from him.
The two suspects, aged 24 and 22, were pronounced dead at the scene, shot and killed by Souza.
