Notre Dame Cathedral remains closed to public
Three months after a fire tore through the roof of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, the iconic monument remains closed to the public.
As of now, tourists can only see the cathedral from outside a perimeter of metal barriers.
The chief architect said it may be nine months or more before restoration can begin.
He's worries parts of the cathedral could still collapse.
French President Emmanuel Macron wants the restoration to be finished by the time France hosts the Olympic games in 2024.
