EATON COUNTY, MI (WILX) -- Just like on Monday, the pavement on Interstate 69 is buckling again.
This time, the pavement is buckling on the northbound side of I-69 on the right lane north of Ainger.
Several vehicles are reported to be off the side of the road with flat tires.
Travelers are advised to use caution or avoid this area if possible.
The pavement along southbound I-69 was buckling Monday near mile marker 48 due to heat.
Road buckling happens when heat causes the pavement to weaken and crack or warp.
