News 10 bell ringers bring in over $3K to help those in need

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The bell ringing season is over and we at News 10 just wanted to say thank you for all who put a little money in the kettle and helped those in need over the holidays.

We had our anchor teams ringing the bell at the Meridian Mall in December.

And besides meeting fans, they helped to raise awareness and money for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign.

The total raised that day between the two anchor teams of David Andrews and Ann Emmerich, and Mallory Anderson and Barrett Tryon was $3762.58. That was during a two-hour shift from 12 -2 PM.
