A new study observed a group of more than 2,600 young adults over the course of three decades.

They found those who stuck to a more Mediterranean diet of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and fish had better brain function during middle age.

They found that those people were actually 46% less likely to develop poor thinking skills than those who did not stick to a Mediterranean diet.
