New poll low for President Trump

According to a new NBC News - Wall Street Journal poll President Trump's approval rating is down to 40-percent.

That's down four points from February.

It's the lowest job-approval rating for a new president at this 100-day stage in the history of this poll.

At this point in their presidencies.. Barack Obama's approval rating was at 61-percent.

George W. Bush was at 56-percent.

And Bill Clinton was at 52-percent.

The best news for President Trump in the poll is on the issue of Syria.

Sixty-two percent of Americans say they support the Trump administration's recent military action in response to the Syrian government's chemical-weapon attack against its own people.
