Nasal spray could be next weapon to fight depression

There may soon be a new drug available for those battling depression
An FDA advisory panel approved an experimental drug from Johnson & Johnson by a vote of 14 to 2 Tuesday.
The nasal spray will be for patients who have not benefitted from other antidepressants.
The drug- Esketamine - has a compound similar to ketamine, which is often abused as a party drug known as "Special-K."
But, when taken intravenously, ketamine has been shown in previous studies to help people with severe depression.
The FDA is expected to announce its decision on the drug by March 4th.
