INGHAM CO., MI. (WILX) -- The Ingham County Animal Shelter is full with cats and dogs ready to be adopted.
NEWS 10 talked to Kate Turner at the Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter and was told "they are up to the brim."
Specifically they said they have 61 dogs in the building and 20 that are available for good homes. And 73 adoptable cats, 145 in the building.
Because of the overload of animals, they are offering a 'name your fee' adoption event.
Potential adopters still have to fill out the required paperwork and meet with the staff to get their adoption approved, but the price is negotiable.
Dog adopters must still purchase a dog license for $15.
