As most high schoolers know, the ACT test can be kind of hard.

The standardize test is used to help teens get accepted into colleges, but for one young student it was just for fun.

A smart Mississippi sixth grader decided to see how she would do on the test, even though she's years away from needing to take it.

Kristen Rhodes, 12, scored a 27--that's pretty impressive considering a 23 is currently above the national average.

The highest you can get on the test is a 36.

However, her first score of 27 isn't good enough for her.

She said she plans to take the ACT again hoping to get an even higher score.
