CHINO HILLS, Calif. (WILX) - A woman who thought her precious gift was gone forever was recently reunited with it.
A year in a half ago, Ceilia Twiford lost her Rolex watch when it slipped off of her wrist and into the toilet.
The 85 hundred dollar watch was flushed down the toilet.
The watch had been a wedding gift from her husband.
Plumbers were unable to retrieve the watch.
However, it was recently found not far from where it was lost between debris piled up near a manhole.
The worker who found the watch had answered Twiford's original call back in 2016 when she first lost it.
He says he knew it was hers because there aren't too many Rolex watches floating around.
The watch is missing one stone but it still works.
