Michigan man dies on spring break after falling from hotel balcony

A 19-year-old Michigan man died after falling from a hotel balcony in Mexico on Saturday night.

Ahmed Altalli fell from the seventh-floor balcony of the GR Solaris Hotel in Cancun, according to the Mexican Municipal Secretariat of Public Security and Transit.

The 19-year-old was a graduate from Fordson High School in Dearborn; he was attending Henry Ford Community College at the time of his death.

A newspaper in Cancun reports an autopsy and toxicology test will be done on Altaii to confirm his cause of death.
