Michigan lawmakers work to reduce state's auto insurance rates
The top republican in the Michigan State Senate says a plan to reduce the state's auto insurance rates, which are the highest in the country, will be introduced in the state legislature within days.
Those words from Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey come as Governor Gretchen Whitmer ordered a review of how Michigan auto insurers charge drivers.
