LANSING, MI (WILX) - Tuesday night, Michigan Republican Party Chairperson Laura Cox spoke out on a GOP lawmaker's removal.
State Representative Larry Inman has been removed from the House Republican Caucus following news of his federal indictment, last week.
In a statement Cox said, "Republicans are quote 'committed to honest government.'"
She applauded the move by the caucus.
Inman is expected to be arraigned May 29 on charges he took bribes to change his vote in the Michigan House, and lied to the FBI, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
