Melting snow and rain causes flooding in northern Michigan

NBC News (NBC) - In Manistee County several roads and even a cemetery are flooded after Thursday night's storms swept across mid-Michigan.

Trinity Cemetery in Manistee is at the corner of Maple and Merkey Roads.

You can see by the video that entire plots were underwater.

Tombstones in lower-lying areas are completely covered from all the melted snow, rain, and run-off.

Witnesses said that in some areas, the water was flowing like a river.
