The organization behind the popular music festival, Electric Forest, is giving back to a local area charity this year.

Sloth Steady will be donating all proceeds from the Electric Forest concert to the Capital Area Humane Society.

The Marketing Manager for Sloth Steady, Constance Geze, said they hope to raise $50,000-$100,000, donate 500-1,000 bags of dog food, and facilitate hundreds of volunteers and adoption signups through volunteer and donation campaigns.

Capital Area Humane Society housed over 4,000 cats and dogs in 2016.

Electric Forest makes it's way to Rothbury Michigan June 21 - 24 and again, June 28 - July 1.
