LOS ANGELES, Calif. (WILX) - A man is charged with felony grand theft after he stole an Oscar award from Frances McDormand, who won Best Actress for her role in "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri".
Terry Bryant stole the award at the Governor's Ball, which is the official after party for the Oscars.
McDormand took her award to the party to get it engraved and it went missing.
Bryant posted videos of himself on Facebook holding the award and he also kissed it.
He was caught trying to leave the party by a photographer who followed Bryant because he didn't recognize him.
The photographer alerted security.
Bryant had a ticket to the Oscar's ceremony but police are not sure how he obtained access to McDormand's award.
