EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -- Satish Udpa might only be Michigan State's interim president for about six months because the search for a permanent president is underway.

The search began last July.

Last September, the MSU Board of Trustees hired a firm to conduct a nationwide search.

The board is currently accepting nominations and plans to review applications and conduct interviews over the next few months.

A new president is expected to be named in June.

News 10 will continue to follow the presidential search, and bring you the latest developments as we get them.
