MSP's 'Homicide School' for up-and-coming detectives happening Wednesday in Lansing

LANSING, MI (WILX) - On Wednesday, several up-and-coming police detectives across Michigan will be taking part in the Michigan State Police's annual Homicide School.

MSP's 'Homicide School' for up-and-coming detectives happening Wednesday in Lansing

The Michigan State Police Training Division and Michigan State University School of Criminal Justice are hosting the training.

The officers will get hands-on experience in preserving and investigating different types of crime scenes during mock scenarios.

The training begins at 9 a.m. in Lansing. It's being held at the Lansing Police Department Special Operations Center on Wise Road.
