Jackson, MI (WILX) -- AT&T Foundation presented a $20,000 grant to Rise Above on Friday, Sept. 13.
Rise Above is a non-profit program that provides support services to struggling students in the Jackson area.
Rise Above provides a route to graduation for students who have been expelled or suspended from school.
The grant is being used by the program to update their technology, including new computers and printers.
Some of the funding from AT&T will also be used to support the breakfast program for the students within the Rise Above program.
David Lewis, president, AT&T Michigan, said in a press release that AT&T is proud to support Rise Above's efforts and help provide funding for much needed resources.
