Local funeral homes collecting items to help Hurricane victims

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - 25 Dignity Memorial Funeral Homes throughout Michigan have created a partnership with Two Men and a Truck, along with Convoy of Hope to launch "Fill the Vehicle" donation campaign.
You can help out by donating items now until next Wednesday, September 27.
Drop-offs are located at the participating funeral homes. Two Men and a Truck will transport the items donated to Florida's Convoy of Hope Charity.
Items they are looking for are:
· Personal Hygiene Items
· Non-Perishable Food Items
· Cleaning Supplies
· Sweep/Push Brooms
· Children's Items
· Blankets
· Scoop Shovels
· Canned Goods
· Contractor Bags
· Sheets
There are five funeral homes participating in the Greater Lansing Area:
Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes in Dewitt, MI
· Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes in East Lansing, MI
· Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes in Lansing, MI
· Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes in Mason, MI
· Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes in Williamston, MI
The donated items will be accepted until September 27.
