Local Students Learning Teamwork Through Robotics Competition

MASON, Mich. -- (WILX) In this week's Schools Rule, News 10's morning anchor Lora Painter talks with Mid-Michigan high schoolers to find out how an international robotics competition teaches them skills for the adult world and what team work is all about.

Students from all over the state gathered at Mason High School for the 2017 FIRST Robotics Competition, Lansing District games. It's a 2,000 people event hosting 40 robotics teams putting their original creations to the test.

The Tractor Technicians from Mason High School will be up at the state competition this weekend, April 15th. The world championships will be in three weeks in St. Louis, Missouri.
