LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -- Lansing would have been one of four cities to host a town hall on the rising cost of drug prices on Monday, however, the event has been canceled.
The event was co-sponsored by AARP.
They did not say why it was canceled, but it will be rescheduled for early 2020.
"Don't Cut Pills, Cut Profits" was supposed to not only tackle the cost but also give people a chance to talk to elected officials. Among those scheduled to be at Monday morning's meeting were U.S. Representative Debbie Dingell, U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters, and others.
