UPDATE: Lansing man with 'severe' Alzheimer's found

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - UPDATE, 10:57 p.m.: Authorities report Dearing has been found safe.

Lansing area authorities are looking for a missing elderly man with Alzheimer's.

Authorities reported 86-year-old Andy Dearing, a black man with "severe Alzheimer's," missing just before 8 p.m. Saturday. They say he is 5'8", 150 lbs., with some gray facial hair.

He was last seen in the south Lansing area of Cedar Street and Long Blvd wearing a blue and white baseball hat, a navy blue Chicago Cubs shirt, black pants and brown dress shoes.
