Lansing intersection to close while fire hydrant is replaced

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Lansing Board of Water & Light will close northbound S. Pennsylvania Avenue at E. Mt. Hope Avenue Saturday to replace a fire hydrant and water valve.

Work is expected to be completed by the end of Saturday.

Traffic will be detoured west on E. Mt. Hope Avenue, north on S. Cedar Street and east on Baker Street.

Area homeowners and businesses will be allowed through during the project.

Drivers are asked to find alternate routes, as there will likely be delays.
