LANSING, MI (WILX) -- The City of Lansing could soon allow residents and their visitors to park on streets from the hours of 2 a.m. to 5 a.m.
City Council’s Committee on Public Safety is expected to review a proposed parking ordinance at its meeting 3:30 p.m. Thursday in council’s chambers.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held on the 10th floor of City Hall, 124 W. Michigan Ave.
If approved, the ordinance would allow residents to purchase on-street parking permits for their neighborhoods.
The permits would also allow for limited use by people who visit the permit holders’ homes.
Council members are expected to vote on the parking ordinance at its Dec. 16 meeting, the final meeting of the year.
