By  |

Relief may come with hallucinations.
Researchers from Duke University looked at nearly 300 patients being treated with Ketamine infusions as an alternative to opioids.
More than a third said the drug caused significant side effects including visual disturbances.
Ketamine is a powerful anesthetic that's also used to treat depression.
The study was led by researchers at Duke University and presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
